Open Telemetry Event
I designed graphic illustrations of a space community that represent the community coming together for the online event for Open Telemetry Community Day.
The project started with a design prompt, the idea was to illustrate a telescope watching the space community talking within one another. Characteristics were simplistic and flat design. Next, the project called for organizing a mood-board ( Pinterest board) of design characteristics.
Per update, the illustrations advanced to more characters to represent the community talking during this event. The design characteristics are flat and 2D design. The project was now focused on creating alien characters with various personalities.
The characters list is updated and refined, then colors from the design prompt was added within the characters. The main community shape is circular to bind the alien and space characters together as they chat within one another.
