Magic Mantis is a Lychee and Blood Orange Pale Ale made with natural ingredients, right here in Sunny California. Our motto is "the real secret of magic lies in the craft." The concept of the design is to illustrate the principles of Scale and Dominance.
The Mantis flies in frame, interacting with the text yet allowing the name to dominate. The font "Cocon" was chosen because it demonstrates similar characteristics as the mantis itself. The overall color scheme is used to give contrast and cheerful, friendly vibe for anyone over 21.
The texture in the wings was inspired by a woven pattern. The texture was overlapped to create the illusion of depth, transparency, and movement. The 6 pack has floral prints that displays the natural ingredients of the Magic Mantis. It creates depth within the background, the logo and text advances from the green illustrating dominance.
